Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 01, 2025

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Orndor.com (and its collectively offered "Services"). Services may include, but are not limited to provided browser extensions (“the Extensions”) and SaaS offerings ("SaaS" and/or "tools") treat information. In all cases, Orndor.com and its provided services do not collect, sell, or share personal information with third parties.

Scope

This policy applies to the all Services, Tools, and Extensions published by orndor.com. It also covers any related static websites used to provide documentation, support, licensing, or checkout flows.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect or store personal information about your browsing activity.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.
  • We do not run analytics or tracking within the Extensions.

Local Processing

Most operations occur on‑device within your browser using local logic (for example, parsing response headers, calculating subnets, or formatting results). Transient data (like the current tab’s URL) is only used to perform the feature you request and is not transmitted to our servers.

Network Requests and Third‑Party APIs

Certain features you explicitly trigger (e.g., DNS lookups, IP geolocation, RDAP queries, BGP data retrieval, or provider IP range downloads) require asking external public services for information. These requests are made directly from your browser to the respective service under their terms and privacy policies. Examples include:

  • Public DNS resolvers (e.g., Cloudflare DoH, Google DoH) for DNS answers you request.
  • Public RDAP endpoints for domain or IP registration details you request.
  • IP metadata services (e.g., ipify, ipapi, ipwho.is) for your public IP details you request.
  • Public datasets (e.g., AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, Microsoft/Azure) for provider IP ranges.
  • Routing/registry sources (e.g., RIPEstat, BGPView) for BGP-related data.

We do not proxy these requests through our own servers and we do not receive their responses. Your use of those services is governed by their respective privacy notices.

Payments (ExtensionPay / Stripe)

Paid features are managed through ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe for payment processing. Payment pages open in a separate tab provided by ExtensionPay/Stripe. We do not receive or store your payment card details. After a successful purchase, we may receive a minimal entitlement indicator (e.g., “paid” status) to unlock features locally in your browser.

Storage and Retention

  • Local configuration and entitlements: The Extensions may store minimal settings (e.g., a paid/unpaid flag) in your browser’s extension storage. You can remove this by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage.
  • No server logs: We do not operate servers that collect usage telemetry for the Extensions.
  • Support communications: If you email us, we will receive whatever information you voluntarily provide, and we will retain it only as long as needed to address your inquiry.

Your Rights

While the Extensions are designed to avoid collecting personal data, if you contact us and share personal information, you may have rights under applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of that information. Please email support@orndor.com to make a request.

Security

We strive to follow industry best practices to safeguard any limited information we handle (such as support emails and local entitlement flags). Because most functionality runs locally and external lookups occur directly from your browser to public services, we do not maintain centralized user databases.

Children’s Privacy

The Extensions are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction).

International Use & Transfers

Because we do not collect or store personal data from the Extensions, international data transfers do not apply to typical usage. If you contact us, your email and any details you include may be processed where we and our email provider operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the latest version at orndor.com and update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the page header.
